Safest Sex Possible

The term ’safe sex’ is often modified to ’safer
sex’, and the reasons behind this are readily apparent
when you consider the obvious: condoms sometimes break,
viruses can at times penetrate condoms, and even oral sex
isn’t completely risk-free. That isn’t to say,
however, that you’re completely out of options if
you are very concerned about STDs and pregnancy. There
are some variations out there that many couples find quite
erotic and pleasurable indeed.
Even these days, the very idea of self-masturbation with
a partner would cause most people to blush. However, the
practice isn’t at all uncommon, and it is the one form
of sex that is absolutely safe. In many cases, couples find
themselves ‘driven’ to this act when one or more
partner finds himself or herself unable to orgasm through
intercourse or oral sex. But by no means should it be looked
at as a defeat! Men especially find the spectacle of a woman
masturbating extremely erotic, and an added benefit is
that it gives them an idea of what their partner specifically
needs to climax. (Many women, as well, enjoy watching their
partners stimulate themselves - you read it here first.)
Mutual self-masturbation requires a degree of intimacy
and confidence that many people find liberating and erotically
charged.

Add to this the benefit of there being no risk of pregnancy
or STD transmission, and it’s surprising that one
doesn’t hear about this activity more often. As long
as no bodily fluids are exchanged in any way, there is absolutely
no reason for concern.

Self-masturbation is also the bulwark of the phone- and
computer-sex industry, and while this activity is held
in the popular imagination as being the domain of single
men, by no means is it exclusive to them. Couples have long
used the telephone to ‘keep in touch’ when separated
by long distances, and now, with the advent of free online
messaging, cyber-sex is becoming increasingly common
between lovers who find themselves stranded behind desks.
(Normal office environments, unfortunately, frown on
such activity; it’s up to you to ensure the right amount
of privacy!)

Mutual self-masturbation - whether in person, on the phone,
or over the computer - still remains on the periphery of
common sexual practice. By way of example, an oblivious
Barbara Walters had to get Monica Lewinsky to explain the
nuts-and-bolts of it on television, which may explain
some of its appeal. More remarkable, though, is how a sexual
activity so many people find erotic can be so safe at the
same time.
